In a special 3 part concert, DRAGON play 20 of the best songs of the 1960’s British pop Invasion.

The show begins with DRAGON playing acoustic guitars, keyboards, mandolin & melodica. They will perform acapella and acoustic versions of such great songs as Thunderclap Newman’s SOMETHING IN THE AIR, Cat Stevens’ MATTHEW AND SON, a rousing acoustic version of The Troggs GIRL LIKE YOU by way of The Beatles YESTERDAY and more.
After a short intermission the band will be back in electric mode tearing into the Stones GET OFF MY CLOUD followed by The Beatles PAPERBACK WRITER.  Great songs such as WHITE ROOM, Jimi Hendrix’s FIRE, WATERLOO SUNSET by the Kinksand ITCHYCOO PARK all get the Dragon treatment and a new burst of life in 2011.

These are the 20 favourite songs that the guys in Dragon played when they first took up their instruments. They are timeless songs and the band loves playing them. The DRAGON versions are fresh and affectionate and celebrate the way these songs turned the music world upside down in the 1960’s.

In the encore Dragon will play 6 of their own timeless hits including APRIL SUN, CELEBRATE, RAIN and ARE YOU OLD ENOUGH.

The album of the show will be released in March to coincide with the tour. The album is titled BEST OF BRITISH COMPILATION 2011.
