FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – MEDIA RELEASE
As Syndicate hit the studio, getting match-fit for their ‘self-titled’ album tour, they do so with a bigger goal in mind than simply another string of shows around the country. For as much as this is an album tour, it is most certainly not just that.
Syndicate will hit Australia’s capital cities in July to launch an album that has already led them three times to LA and back again as well as a string of sold out shows on home soil this last six months… this sensational debut album is one of the most ambitious and accomplished recordings by a new artist, and features collaborations with some of the biggest names in rock music. This hit laden rock album will be brought to the stage in Syndicate’s most extensive live shows to date, and as every single person who have seen this incredible new act live, the band always makes one hell of a big impression.
Lead singer Greg Agar says the band feels most comfortable when they’re on the stage. “This is the tour we’ve been waiting for,” he says. “Everyone can expect a full-length, high-impact rock gig, showcasing many different sides of Syndicate, and a few surprises in there. Perhaps the biggest things we’ve learned from being on the road is that this is where the band is meant to be. We love the studio and recording, but playing live is definitely where we’re in our element.”
On July 1, Syndicate are set to storm the charts again when they release their explosive self-titled studio album: one of the most anticipated releases of 2011! The new album includes their hit first single ‘Shout”, their highest charting hit which hit number #1 in its first week and their next rock single ‘All My Life’ which is to be released to Australian radio Monday June 6 ahead of its national release on July 1.
The timeless new single ‘All My Life’ track was produced in Los Angeles by Brandon Friesen (Nickelback, Comeback Kid, Sum41, Billy Talent) and Jeff Blue (Linkin Park, Macy Gray, Matchbox 20) and shows off the bands rock roots faultlessly. Add to this a second heartfelt piano version by singer Greg Agar to be released simultaneously and this is set to be all over Australian radio alongside its predecessor Shout.
With names like Jeff Blue (Linkin Park), Brandon Friesen (Nickelback), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, Guns n Roses) and Mike Fraser (AC/DC) working on their debut release, it’s no surprise the album is highly anticipated, and the first two singles Shout and All My Life have been making the rounds of Australian commercial radio. Syndicate’s rise to fame came courtesy of a highly acclaimed EP, which saw them head to Los Angeles to lay down the tracks of their full-length release.
Syndicate in just a heartbeat are becoming one of Australia’s most popular up and coming touring rock acts, who have it all as far as Aussie rock band's go, the likes we have not seen for many moons. This band of best mates have an album of smash hit iconic rock songs, an indescribably killer live show and on top of that they are a group of the most humble guys you will ever meet - quite amazing for an act who are set to explode on the world stage as Syndicate are poised for.
With a host of special guest acts from every corner of this great land riding shotgun, an iconic debut rock album under their belt, and the promise of a run of shows that will blow your hair back; Syndicate are loading up the van and getting ready to hit the road for a rock and roll release party to end them all.
“The thing we’re looking forward to the most is getting out there and seeing all the people,” Greg says. “We love to connect with our friends and this will be a great chance to get amongst it.” For their fans, and for the challenge of carrying on the legacy of great Aussie live rock bands taking their music to the world: Syndicate proudly present their 2011 Australian tour – this July.
