In the two short months since its release, americana rock outfit Rattlehand’s debut album has been garnering praise all over the globe with critical acclaim from The Netherlands, the UK and the US. The first single from the album, Leavin’ has been added to high rotation on over 40 commercial and community radio stations around the country and the band look set to make a big mark on the contemporary Americana/alt-country scene.
In 2011 the band established themselves as serious players in the field, performing live with Justin Townes Earle, Wagons and Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band and playing to sold out crowds at Tamworth, Woodford and Apollo Bay festivals.
The joviality and contagiousness of their music is at the core of their success, and anyone who loves a good blues or rock beat will get as much from Rattlehand’s new album as the most hardened alt-country fan.
