After getting the swing happening in 2019 with their one-night only extravaganza performance at BAR36, ELECTRO ALLEY returns by popular demand this February for two massive nights. Sydney’s ELECTRO ALLEY have garnered a phenomenal reputation in their home city of Sydney. The band features the core of Pirra, one of the hottest bands on the touring circuit today. With Jess Beck on vocals, James McKendry on gypsy guitar, and twin brothers Curtis and Jeffrey Argent on bass and drums respectively, joined by Simon Ranguis on violin and Kurt Mikolajczyk on horns, the band are acclaimed for their high energy dance music.
Embracing the international genre of Electro Swing, ELECTRO ALLEY have mixed their passion for swing, gypsy jazz and EDM into jazz improvisations meet electric dance. The result is toe-tappingly good and guaranteed to encourage all music-lovers to shake their stuff. Technically exciting, dynamic and catchy, their songs feature jazzy hooks, bouncy beats and pop arrangements with bring a spontaneous atmosphere to their live shows.
Locals Swing Kitty are open the musical fun each night, bringing their swanky style of Electro Swing dubbed ‘swing re-invested’, an infused mix of house beats with old-time swing. Embracing the international genre of Electro Swing, Swing Kitty are Mike Rivett, Nikki Doll and Stan Petratos have been perfecting their sound and swing stylings to launch with a bang this year.
